This is the shorter 1000mm nylon sweeping rod. This sweeping rod is so bendy that it can be bent right back on itself, making it ideal for use on chimney liners with bends or on twin wall flue systems with bends.  The diameter of the rod is 14mm, increasing to 27mm at the joint.The rods have a 15mm thread which are not compatible with standard  poly or wire brushes.  The hexagonal ferrules on the rods allow them to be tightened together with a spanner to stop them from coming apart if they are turned anti clockwise within the flue (rods should always be turned in a clockwise direction both when being pushed up the chimney and when being pulled down.)

Not suitable for open chimneys.
