This is the longer 1500mm extra bendy nylon sweeping rod. This rod can get round sharp bends in chimney liners and in twin wall flue systems. Polypropylene brushes can tend to damage liner or flue where it bends tightly. The diameter of the rod is 14mm, increasing to 27mm at the joint. The rods have a 15mm thread which are not compatible with standard  poly or wire brushes. The hexagonal ferrules on the rods allow them to be tightened together with a spanner to stop them from coming apart if they are turned anti clockwise within the flue (rods should always be turned in a clockwise direction both when being pushed up the chimney and when being pulled down.)

Not suitable for open chimneys.
