The Room heater Tippy ashcarrier is a deep ash carrier for longer stove ashpans to fit inside.

To use the ashcarrier, place the loaded ashpan inside the ashcarrier, close the lid and tip upright.  The ash is emptied into the carrier, the ashpan can then be removed and replaced in the fireplace or stove.  Take the ashcarrier outside and dispose of the ash without the dust entering the house.
